Swachh Bharat Mission
cleanliness is the key to health. In 110 villages, our Swachhta Mission has helped us develop the habit of cleanliness inside as well outside the homes in rural India.
These villagers have constructed soak pits to prevent water logging and hence mosquito breeding, and thus chances of getting ill of malaria and other diseases have been considerably reduced.
Underground water table levels have improved
Compost pits have been made to recycle the wet household waste and dead leaves to make organic manure.
Encouraging the rural population to use the toilets instead of open defecation.
Our villagers are made to understand the importance of water treatment before drinking which maybe by boiling or filtering in home-made or purchased filters. These are now an essential part of our ARC health plans.
