Since inception of Ekal Vidyalaya in Dhanbad district of Jharkhand  in 1988, deficient  health facilities in villages was perceived as most essential requirement to be filled next.

Separate trust named Arogya Foundation of India was registered in 2003 which has exemptions under  Section 12A and 80G section of the income tax department  and  also registered with the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India under FCRA to receive contribution from overseas.

We work on the concept of Arogya Resource Centres (ARC). It is a cluster of 30 nearby/adjacent villages. These 30 villages have 30 Arogya Sevikas, one each from each village. The ARCs were started from year 2015.
