Arogya Foundation of India, was registered in 2003 under the umbrella of Ekal Abhiyan with the primary objective to enhance/improve the health indices of rural and tribal population of Bharat.
Presently operational in 1110 village in 13 states across country, we are in reach of more than 12,60,000 people from rural India. With the mission to reach 1 lac villages across country, our journey remains steady and there has been incremental growth. With the expected average yearly growth rate of 50%, we are confident to achieve the target in next 12 years.
Our prime focus is providing free health education and health services to the rural domicile of our country.
Our trained frontline health workers (called Arogya Sevikas) are from the same village. They are trained to help villagers with respect to first aid, health related matters such as personal hygiene, use of toilets in homes, health education related to cleanliness inside as well as outside home, construction of soak pits to channelize waste/rain water, fight malnutrition amongst children and females, connecting them with medical professionals sitting in urban areas with the help of Telemedicine App, and much more.
